Why do single-shoe insoles get dirty easily?
Single-shoe insoles are generally made of materials such as leather or fabric. When we wear shoes, the insoles are constantly in contact with the soles of our feet, easily accumulating sweat, foot debris, and other dirt. Over time, this builds up into stubborn grime.
How to clean single-shoe insoles?
Dry Cleaning
If the single-shoe insole is leather, dry cleaning is recommended. Remove the insole and wipe off surface dust and stains with a damp cloth. Then, use a toothbrush to scrub the surface until clean. This method will not deform the insole and can remove stubborn stains.
Washing
If the single-shoe insole is fabric, it can be washed. Remove the insole and first wipe off surface dust and stains with a damp cloth. Then, soak it in a mixture of soapy water or laundry detergent for 10 minutes. Gently rub the insole, rinse it clean, and let it air dry. Note: Do not machine wash the insoles, as this may damage the material and cause deformation.
